My above model is working fine for last 4 yrs. Have a mobile with WiFi connection. I want to increase the range of the Modem, so that the the mobile with wifi gets a better signal. Tried to centrally locate the modem, but not much change in signal strength. Will changing the modem antenna or cleaning it help.

    • Hi Gautam
Please note that this modem works with in the range of 10 to 15 Meters. This is basically for the use with in a home parameter, if you increase the height of the antenna the range will also increase from 15 to 20 Meters but due to RF power limitation the signal will be poor causing break in the connectivity. Try to increase RF POWER with modification in the hardware circuit diagram. You can change RF Transistor with another RF power Transistor but this is not an easy task.
